I love a good T-shirt dress. It’s one of those simple pieces that can make getting dressed so much easier — especially when I’m working from home but still want to feel put together.

That’s pretty much my formula. Give me a soft, comfortable dress, add a necklace or two, some cute sandals, and I’m ready for the day.
Why I Love T-Shirt Dresses
For me, comfort is important, but I still want to feel cute. A T-shirt dress gives me both.
They’re soft, stretchy, easy to move around in, and perfect for those work-from-home days when I might be sitting at my desk most of the day but still need to jump on a video call.
And they aren’t just for working from home. Change the shoes, add some jewelry or a cute jacket, and you’ve got an easy outfit for running errands, going to lunch, traveling, or just about anything casual.
One of my favorite things about a simple T-shirt dress is how easy it is to dress it up just a little.
I love adding some jewelry — usually a necklace or two — because it instantly makes a basic dress feel more put together. Add a pair of cute sandals, and suddenly something incredibly comfortable looks like an actual outfit.

My Trick for Deep V-Neck Dresses
Sometimes I find a dress I love, but the neckline is a little deeper than I want. Instead of passing on the dress, I layer a cami underneath it.
I especially like this one because it has a built-in bra, which means one less layer to worry about.
