My Hot-Day Work-From-Home Outfit

This black two-piece cami set is one of my favorite outfits for a hot work-from-home day. It’s lightweight, loose and comfortable — basically the next best thing to staying in my pajamas.

The set is from Terra & Sky at Walmart, which is one of my favorite brands for comfortable, easy-to-wear pieces.

And here’s the best part about this outfit…

Video call? Throw on a kimono!

Suddenly you look completely put together, and no one on the video call knows what’s underneath. 😂

That’s my kind of work-from-home fashion!

The Kimono Makes the Outfit

My blue, black and white striped fringe kimono came from a local boutique, and I love what it does for such a simple black outfit.

You could easily recreate the same look with another kimono or lightweight cover-up you already own.

You also don’t need a two-piece set. A comfy black romper would be perfect underneath it too.

Add a Pop of Turquoise

I also love adding turquoise jewelry to this outfit.

The turquoise looks so pretty against the black and picks up the blue tones in the kimono. A turquoise necklace, bracelet or earrings gives the outfit that little extra pop without making it feel too dressed up.

It’s an easy way to take a super-comfy outfit and make it feel a little more Fancy Nancy. 👑

One of My Favorite Cruise Outfit Ideas 🚢

This is also exactly the kind of outfit I love on a cruise.

You can lounge around in the cami set, and when it’s time to head out of the cabin — especially when somebody says “Let’s go to the buffet!” — just throw on the kimono, add your sandals and jewelry, and you’re ready.

No complete outfit change required.

It’s comfortable enough for relaxing, but cute enough for walking around the ship, going to the buffet or enjoying a casual sea day.

Basically…

It’s like wearing pajamas all day, except nobody knows you’re wearing pajamas. 😂
